"Design is a plan for arranging elements in such a way as best to accomplish a particular purpose." Charles Eames
It has to be more than eye candy Now the purpose can vary, but you need to have a clear understanding of what it is you are trying to accomplish before you begin to "design".
Firming up your objectives and charting your course is the best way to insure you’re going to get where you want to go, instead of ending up with what happens to come your way. Going through this process is the most surefire way to insure the design, execution and the supporting collateral meet you goals.
From a graphics perspective even if it looks good, it still may be the wrong design for the need or purpose at hand. Moreover not only does it have to be effective, in a competitive market, the function needs a creative form.
Animated Video
Some projects are all work, but sometimes you get a fun one. This custom animation video, on way too tight a timeline I might add (but we got it done), was one of the fun ones. It was not only an interesting project, working with some great people, we really got to sink our creative teeth into it. Starting right with the concept, through the script, storyboard and sketches, to finding the perfect narrator and music, we got to fit together every piece of the puzzle.

Websites to go
We finally got the opportunity to do something we’ve been wanting to do for awhile; build a mobile application. The application is for a local restaurant guide, pretty important to be able to find what you’re looking for while you’re on the go! We designed and developed the main site, then worked to reformat it for mobile browsers.
Tested. Reformatted. Tested. Reformatted, the same old rendering story. The restaurant guide is just starting out, but you can view the functionality, and find a great place for your next meal out, here: www.restaurantinquirer.com.
Our door is always open and there is usually a fresh pot of coffee on. Please feel free to stop in anytime, or call to set up an appointment where we can talk further about anything discussed in this edition of the quarter.
